Store Wars - When Wal*Mart Comes to Town is now playing nationwide on your local PBS station. It's amazing to observe the Wal*Mart folks trying to convince local communities to accept their stores.  I'm sure that if America's #1 retailer (The Big Box of course) had steamrolled into town, the local politicians would have rolled out the red carpet.  It's easy to understand their disappointment at getting merely a 100,000 square foot Wal*Mart corner store when we would have opened a 40 acre Big Box moby store.

Anyway, it serves those people right for allowing Wal*Mart to build in their town.  The citizens of Ashland, Virginia will be sorry when we build our new store on Gwathmey, Virginia*.  Hopefully, the makers of Store Wars will cover our grand opening celebration.
